DV Mark endorser Ludovico Vagnone on tour with legendary Italian band Pooh

Nov. 23, 2010, 10:45 a.m.
“I’m glad to use DV Mark amps and cabinets,” says Ludovico. “We’re rehearsing for the tour at the moment and I’m sorry to use the same word for every piece of DV Mark equipment, but the best word to sum up my feelings is: “Genius!” The C212 V cabinets are wonderful, marvelous. The Bad Boy 120 head amp is genius, the clean channel is very interesting… in the American classic tradition but very clean and deep… really very nice! The crunch is genius―beautiful and dynamic. The lead channel was very nice at first quick test… of course I’ve been fully exploiting its great potential during rehearsals!

The "Dove comincia il sole" tour starts on November 23 at the 105 Stadium in Rimini, the first of seven highly-anticipated indoor stadium concerts that will continue until December 3.

The secret weapon to be unleashed on this tour will be the wall of sound created by drum powerhouse Steve Ferrone, keyboardist Danilo Ballo and of course Ludovico Vagnone on guitars. The brand new six-piece version of Pooh will introduce songs from the new CD "Dove comincia il sole" and perform their top hits rearranged to suit the sound of the new lineup.

The tour will continue in 2011 with more dates to be announced. For the current tour itinerary, visit the "Dove Comincia il Sole Tour" section of the Pooh website.
